wow, i'm like completely satisfied with my life right now. everything's been going so well..it's like after all this chaos, everything just fell into place.

**just to rub it in everyone else's face, here's all the impending good things:
1.  chris is coming on friday!!
2.  spring break is coming up in a few weeks and i'm going to fly out to SD!! beaches and sun baby, beaches and sun.
3.  i just got new sick ass tires! and they look sexxy..makes me smile.
         http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=HydroEdge
(many thnks to my honey for helping me pick 'em out. well worth it)
4.  i found a doctor to shadow in SD!!!
5.  i'm gonna do my CHC with the Refugee Health department of Catholic Charities.  they're setting up an infectious disease study, which sounds awesome.
6.  i'm finally getting the hang of PIL and medical school

now i'm just worried that something horrible will happen to me before it all works out (i.e. freak death accident!). haha, naw..but just to be sure, i'm being super cautious.

BrrRRr...it's cold in here.
in another weather update, I saw a picture captioned on the New York Times website today saying how eastern parts of the U.S. are shivering today in brutal weather.  So i decided to check philly's weather b/c it seemed pretty brutal out there last night/this morning.  Are you ready? ...... "21°F...Feels like 7°F". WHAT?!! where did the other 14 degrees go? Don't let that sun fool you, it's an icy cold one here.

Anyways, I just finished my IPA's. Exhausted, but so relieved that I feel another burst of energy.  I stayed on campus till around 6 am preparing. (sitting alone in the library in the wee hrs of the night/morning wasn't as eerie as i thought it'd be. of course i didn't dare run around and turn off all the study room lights, like i usually would. i thought it'd be safer to keep every corner as well lit as possible.) And then in my groggy stupor, I trudged home just before the sun came up. Slept for an hr and then attempted to organize my presentation while huddled up next to the heater. (MAN..it's sooo cold here. i can't even manage studying at home cause i always end up trying to study under the covers..end up falling asleep. or curled up nxt to the heater..not very comfortable for studying, but feels, oh so good.)

IPA's were fun though! I had Dr. Parris. I was still so nervous...I don't know if it was the lack of sleep and disorientation that did it...or just the fact that it would be my first time presenting alone in front of a faculty member. But he was cool...lots of nodding during my presentation. And in the end, he was super sweet. He just talked to me for like 20 min about my presentation, what he thought of PIL, the whole IPA process, and how I was enjoying it.
I just hope he doesn't like praise you after the presentation and then rip you a new one when he sits down to grade.

maybe it's just my californian naïveté (crazy word huh?), but IT'S SNOWING OUTSIDE. the weather forcast says "light snow", but it looks like a pretty damn lot to me. haha. man, and the weather forcast is hilarious....

tonight:
"A light wintry mix this evening will transition to mainly rain showers overnight. Low near 30F. Winds light and variable. Chance of precip 50%."

**wtf is a "wintry mix"? hahah...

tomorrow: "scattered flurries"

i looked that up last time, "flurries" is like light snow i think. oh well..who knew the weather could be so entertaining?

some pictures of the snow from my bedroom window...i'm too lazy and cold to go outside

i finally uploaded pictures from my camera...

here's some from the Senses Fail Concert, which was AWESOME.
...but the pictures aren't that great..it was crowded and really hard to get a picture in. we were jam packed a..so packed that you didn't even really need to use your legs to support yourself, there was no way you could fall down, you were squashed in on all sides. i swear i was standing at a 45 degree angle for the last half of the show.

anyways..here's Bleeding Through. they got the crowd PUMPED.

the girl on the keyboard was hott! bad picture though. maybe it was just a combo of the adrenaline rush from the screamo music and a general fascination with musicians that made her seem so appealing on stage. *shrugs*

Saosin

they were really good too.

and then the best! Senses Fail! they rocked the stage. i definitely wanna go see them in concert again.
Taste of Chaos 2007!!
